Taylor Trusty is the co-founder of Newslever, a marketing intelligence platform acquired by Similarweb in 2025. Newslever’s daily digests are read by tens of thousands of leaders at companies including NASDAQ, Deloitte, and Airbus. He also runs Tech:949, a weekly newsletter of Orange County tech events and news.

Taylor is an 11-year member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization and co-host of Founder Secrets, a long-running podcast interviewing founders, including leaders of Zeffy, OpenWeb, and Wandering Bear Coffee.

Before Newslever, Taylor co-founded Blackstone Media, a digital agency acquired in 2018. A college dropout, he taught himself to code at 13 and launched his first ecommerce company in sports collectibles at 19.

A Kentucky native who spent eight years in New York City, Taylor now lives in Southern California with his wife and their goldendoodle. He enjoys nerding out about cold outbound email, building founder communities, and long mountain hikes.
